I've been having probs with Vista on my Acer so have decided to look into upgrading to W7.
Where would be the cheapest place to obtain a copy? Looking on the Msoft site its about a ton and I dont want to upgrade that much :D

I've also heard about an offer for Students? Unfortunately I'm too old to get this. Anyone have a student I can 'borrow' for an hour to get a copy :augie :D

theres a program that you can run to see if your laptop can handle the up grade it was posted on here sometime ago

ive a student you can keep:augie:augie

Now, wonder if the Grandson is allegable [sic] :D

That probably depends on what you're thinking of alleging that he's done....:augie

They probably do discounts for adult literacy students....;)

Tell me, wots it like bein perfic? dont it get monotonus? :D ;)

What does [sic] mean other than :barf

Does what matter to whom in what context?

In the context of me getting W7, does it really matter if it is literacy or illiteracy, the Grandson is only 8 weeks old so I guess he is innalegabel :augie

Not in the slightest, old chap and I suspect that you're correct in that he's not eligible quite yet.
