Wind Deflectors - What the hell do they look like and where do you put them/attach them?

Any good? Worth the money?

:blast:blast:blast I'm guessing your on about winglets, search on here for info. Look on Nippy Normans site to find them, with pics. Would send you a link but it's not working at mo.

Well, just bought some. So my comments.

First bought the Givi Airflow 330. Well worth it. Reduction in wind noise and buffeting around the head make the bike even more of a pleasure to ride.
But, I got more buffetting either side of my body (feels like alternating vortices hitting you).

Winglets have stopped this side to side buffeting completely.

In summary if you do many motorway or dual carriageway miles, then yes, worth getting. IMHO of course.

I bought and fitted a massive screen from Nippy Normans aswell and found the buffeting from side to side now.

Where do the Winglets attach? How much you pay for them?

There is a bracket inside the beak, sort of next to the forks.... That's where you put the winglets. Got to drill some holes though.

Well worth the effort though.

I fitted then due to noise from buffeting, nothing I have done has worked, I have fitted a laminar lip, a high screen.....torbinators...nothing works.

The only relief (and by far the cheapest) is good quality ear plugs.
