Wind on arms - what fix ?

You’ve another surprise ahead when you ride in the rain.... it’s wet.

And spray goes up your leg; disgraceful for a flagship motorcycle at a premium price. I read it here.

If only the OP had made it to the ABR love-in, he’d have met hundreds of likeminds for full on chilling and banter on this and other most pressing bikermate topics, all over a brew, heated by kindling garnered from a hedge, ignited by focussing the rays of the sun through an old milk bottle found in a ditch.

I have just installed those wind flaps on my non-adventure 1250gs 2021 and they made no difference. Now I'm trying with the screens that cost me a lot of money. So far, not satisfied with these screens:
- BMW Adventure screen
- Puig Adventure screen with and withoout the spoiler
- Givi Adventure screen
BMW and Puig screens gave me no wind problem on my arms and shoulders but I had big buffeting problem with both. Givi solved buffeting problem but as it created very low pressure behind the screen now I have a problem with lot of wind on my arms and shoulders.
I've just placed the order for Wunderlich screen as they claim it solves both of the problems. After that, MRA will be my last attempt to solve this.

Trouble is that this is such a personal issue. One rider’s noisy, buffeting is another’s calm and serene.

On my 2016 R1200GS I fitted the Wunderlich touring screen and the winglets and I found the combo to be near perfect…

Rowle I mean if your top concern is no wind and to stay dry in the rain and you want to stay on 2 wheels I would trade the GS for a RT...no joke !The GS gets you some wind on purpose because think about hot summer trips where more wind on your arms and body actually mean some relieve from heat.Of course in a cold and rainy climate a good fairing like the RT has is beneficial to stay warm and dry !

Thank you richardbd - that sounds like a possible solition so i will give that a go as well.
Cheers.

When I saw this I thought it was going to be about a bizzare condition of the upper limbs and was requesting tips for antiflatulent remedies of the armpit.

i don't think anyone really understood what i meant in my original question - that's probably me not explaining very well.
There must be a reason why they sell those winglets -i don't know what they do or if they work.

Anyway -thanks for the "replies" ........

…..i find my arms tend to get too much air/wind.(and get soaked in the rain)

To save me buying stuff that might not work, have you got any advice ?

PS At 5’ 7” the bike would be spot on, too.

Fantastic! As it acts as safety roll cage no need for a helmet, boots, gloves etc.
