I've got a 32 bit version of Windows 7 and need a 64 bit version.

How?

Buy a 64 bit version.

You may have both version on the disc that came with the PC.
Even if you do its the product key that decides what version you can install.
You'll need to fork out for an upgrade.

PM sent if you want to flirt with illegality, but TBH If I were after a legit copy, I'd do as above.....you could have a pukka licensed copy installed tonight :thumb2

Ain't happenin' :D

In fact, the discs are OEM and are 32 bit only (says on the disc)

If you get a 64bit disc your 32bit licence number on the oem sticker will work They are 2 types of oem discs 32 and 64 the licence number will with either the number will determine the version home pro etc. Its also possible to install from the disc and enter the key later doing this give you a choice which version to install.

We've run Ubuntu on desktops and laptops for the last eight years, but also keeping Windows installations for stuff that won't run under Wine. As the upgrade from win7 pro to win10 was free, I've upgraded. I hate to say it, but 64 bit Ubuntu 14.04 is horribly slow compared to 64 bit win10. We'll always use Ubuntu but it really needs to up its game if it's to survive now Windows is free.

Unfortunatly they're a bunch of idiots. Paid my money, downloaded the iso, but they sent me the wrong product key and now they couldn't care less. Keep saying I must have made a keyboard error.

I think they may not be legit.

Make sure you've got the correct iso (home, pro etc) for the key. I had the same thing before I realised I'd downloaded the wrong iso.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already checked I'd got the right iso
