Windows 7 log on

I cannot log on to Windows in my usual profile but can as a Guest but of course cannot see any of my folders or files ... each time I try it I enter my password then the Welcome page takes ages to open and then sometimes defaults to the Acer screen or gives me a message User Profile cannot be opened ...

I installed freeware Superantispyware recently and wonder if there's a connection

Any help appreciated

Are there any other accounts on this PC, apart from Guest and your account?
If so are any of them Administrator accounts?
Is there any more information from windows when it informs you the User Profile cannot be opened?

Check you can see your folders and files first, then run a full antivirus and spyware scan.

Can you log in as administrator? You need to be able to do that to sort the problem out.
