windows xp microsoft firewall

anygood? if not why not? and please recomend me a better free one

my anti virus is AVG free...updated daily

XP's firewall doesn't block outgoing stuff, only incoming, so if you have malware, it can transmit data.

I use ZoneAlarm (free version) which is easy to use and monitors incoming and outgoing stuff. Don't know whether its the best though.

tiny firewall get the older version it's free and very good. If you can't find a copy PM me it's not a big programme

Sygate Personal Firewall is another good free one that I use.
