Just an observation:

I have a standard screen on my LC. Unsurprisingly, it is light-years better than the scrren I had on my previous R850R at deflecting the windblast hitting me/my helmet.

I was out with SWMBO yesterday (for a great ride down the Rhine Valley to Konigswinter). On the way back, we decided to use the motorways and what was very soon apparent to me was that with her on the back, the buffeting from the windstream was far less two up than riding solo. Certainly the buffeting at 150 kph was minimal. There must be a good reason for this but cannot think of it immediately!

I would add that 2 up at 150kph was a doddle for he bike and it felt very stable and secure

No offence to your SWMBO who may for all I know be a stick insect fashion model but the bike perhaps was sitting lower at the back, effectively making the screen that bit taller. I've found that on the very few occasions that I carry a passenger even if I crank up the preload.

I suspect that she is blocking the roll of air that comes off the screen and curls around to often hit you from behind...
