Hi All
After 2 years of buffeting and wind noise ive finally reduced the wind noise to a minimum by adding a set of adveture winglets to my 2006 r1200gs already fitted with a MRA screen, and Wunderlich screen adjuster .
I would say that at speeds up to 70mph noise has been reduced by about 40% and at 80 mph motorway speeds reduced by 10% but much more comfortable which iam pleased with .
I made two small support brackets from aluminium and attached them to the excisting oil cooler brackets and also used penny washers for extra support .
Costs
Aluminium flat for brackets B&Q £6.80
S/Steel penny washers e bay 10 pack £1.70
Winglets and all fittings Williams BMW £34.60 delivered
