Been out today and diverted down a couple of lanes (I was on the 650 with road tyres ).

Anybody doing anything more than the numpty ride with me would be well advised to fit on TKC's as it was pretty bad even with the little Dak.

Ended up going down towards Monsul Head (???). Wussed out on the final drop down to the road, I won't take the newbies that way

Had a go at a muddy lane.........................TKC's shall be fitted next weekend .

I was impressed with the Dak though, needs bar risers and will benefit from the KTM front end conversion I have planned, but overall she was a dream.

I fitted risers to the dak I had - makes more of a difference than on the big GS

Is yours a black/white or the blue/red/white/black.?

When mine was in for its first service I had a 650GS with twin sports pipes can't remember which make but they were a bm option. It made quite a difference, I was surprised.

Standard pipes mean it's nice and quiet which I like.

defo needs bar risers but I have a KTM front end to go on so will probably wait until it's fitted before spending cash on something I can't use with the KTM set up.

He will be on my 1150 or the Dak, just depends what I choose to ride.

Now he really is an idiot, the boys got skills, but no self control to use them properly

I'm not an idiot i'm common sense i lack. as for my riding skills they are on a par with lampkin and knight but i don't like to show off so make the odd mistake just so the rest of you feel better. I was after all one of the only ones to cross the third ford on the Gollen ride out without a dab (tis on video for proof) Anyway do i have to ride Flips GS or can i bring my Prilla, as mentioned before its a twin, road reg-d and not been seen that trails before. Go on let me bring that one, its just like a smaller version of the KTM SE

Seeing your so talented dont think it would be fair to let you ride your prilla pogo

But as you say it is a twin and to avoid any and damage to flips 1150 more from flip if that was to happen ...

I have just been pointed to this by Phil-Aqua (Flipfly)

I know this is a GS forum, and I do have a BMW but it isn't fit for offroad, on account of it being a K1200S

I used to trial ride but haven't done any for over 10 years, but I bought a XTZ660 in December and need some guidance on legal roads, and Phil promises to look after me

so I am looking forward to meeting up with you guy's, and please be gentle with me

I'm thinking of using the prilla cos A) its mine so if i trash it it's not a big issue
B) flip would be well pissed if i killed the GS C) the prilla is one scarey syco cycle with zero traction, zero control and a thirst for throttle so suits my riding style perfectly I'll be happy for anyone to give the Bastardcycle a go but don't blame me if it bite yer.......

Hey up Brian, you'll be with me so don't worry, I'm picking all the strong lads to come out on the easy ride so that they can lift me and the bike out of the hedge

Just focus on the lane not the Dakars rear wheel and you should be OK
