I'll be taking my Freeride in the van and would have room for your bike and gear. PM me if you would like to arrange something.

Hi bill,
I am in Newark Tuesday eve, I could collect then.
Andy will be leaving from collingham in his van,
I assume Paul will be coming from Lincoln in his van
If you could meet me at Newark train station at@6pm or I could pop up before 6
So plenty of options

Cheers Mike, Unfortunately I'm at work till 6 o'clock on Thursday evening and I can't guarantee getting away of time.
Andy's been in touch, so has Paul but the logistics of getting my bike to/from the various options that have very kindly been offered make it a bit difficult on this occassion. I have put plans in place for future trips but the timescales for this weekend are just too tight to make it viable.
I'm cross with myself tbh, I thought I had things sorted but didn't take into account my mechanical incompetence or my astonishing ability to turn the simplest of tasks into an utter farce, both of which have combined to feck things up once again. :blast

Bill - are you working on Friday?

It's only a an hour and a half to ride there on your WR. I'm not working so am more than happy to meet you somewhere (say around the A1 - 1/2 hour from Lincoln) and we can ride in together - forcast is still good, looks like we're not going to get 'Snowziller' :D:D
 
Been out today and sorted a route out if anyone wants to put it in their GPS. It MAY/ SHOULD work. The lanes are mostly OK some you could ride a 1100CC some were quite a struggle on a DRZ or 450 KTM. If yer send me an email I will send you the routing. If yer do it yerself or on yer own dont blame me. I will try and make a set of wps with colour coding to discribe the level of difficulty. mickdb1@ gmail.com. HTHY :thumby:

No idea which group I've been 'assigned' to yet, but irrespective of that I'll be happy to follow cos I don't have a GPS device holder on the EXC.........yet ;)

Weather forecast looks a bit moist for Fri & Sat....should make nicely for getting muddy :green gri

Muddy is at the lighter description end of some of todays ride . Deep was also mentioned. as was Boulders size of TVs and steps (that was just on ONE LANE)

overtroos would be helpfull if yer have um :rob
 
Timaloy can do a road ride if you want on Saturday. Just 2 of us at present. Let me know, been out for a run today around the Peak. :thumby:

I did all back lanes Mick the crap on the roads made em real exciting, farmers out in force. Good to be out though.
 
As things stand ,with the riders that have confirmed.
We have 3 ride guides who have kindly volunteered:thumb
Gaz will lead the slower paced group,3 of which have rented bikes from him,so it makes sense for him to be leading,I also believe that group is leaving from his gaff.
Astro and 5 mates are travelling up on the Saturday morning,so they fall into another group.
That leaves,me,bounce ,magnon,
Plus space to adjust group sizes for riders preferences.
We can sort all of this Saturday.when everyone has arrived and we have total numbers.
I went to the pub on Saturday ,and delivered my accommodation for the weekend:D
I can confirm that the beer is fine,:beer:
 
SO there are the 3 lads hiring my bikes and I`m happy to take 3 more. So who's it to be and what time do you want to meet at my place? I`m about 20 mins from Winster
