Can anyone recommend a ggod pair of winter gloves. I don't mind paying top money for them as long as they keep your hands warm and dry.

The Hein gericke "lobster" gloves are brilliant! :)

Don't be put off by the design, you don't miss the extra fingers and for the money (£35?) they kept we warm and dry through all sorts of foul weather and snow at motorway speeds.:thumb2

Hein Gericke

Another vote for the Pathan or 'Lobster' glove. Bought a pair last year and they're brilliant.

Get yerself a pair of....

Steptoe's muffs and wear your summer gloves...nice and toasty...:thumb

Hard to say...

I have some old BMW ones Pro: Warm, Dry - Con: Bulky, Palms get hot with heated grips but tops still cold.

I tried the Panthan 'Lobster' Pro: Warm, Dry - Con: Never got comfortable using them. Same issue with heated grips.

I now use muffs and summer gloves. Pro: Warm, Dry, Have full 'feel', don't get cold tops of hands - Con: Muffs are bulky to store on the bike if you need to take them off (to stop them getting pinched)

I only have the muffs if I know I'm going on a long(ish) ride in the cold. Otherwise at this time of year I wear summer gloves and keep the BMW ones in the top box as a backup.

Like any kit choice there's no right and wrong - just what works for you... :thumb

Leave my muffs on the bike all the time in winter, never crossed my mind that someone would want to steal them:nenau

Aaaaaaand another one for muffs. Put them on this morning for their 3rd season. Top kit even if they look a bit silly. But then that statement applies to the rider as well.
