I've just bought a couple of cans of BMW transparent wax. Rainbow applied this to my 1100GS when I bought it in 2001. After daily winter use the bike still looked like new, so I thought I'd give it a go on the rockster I've just picked up while the bike is still in showroom condition.
Anyone got a good technique for applying this kind of wax? I guess thats its all in the preparation, maybe I'll mask off the disks etc...
I don't fancy having to reapply the protection every week or after rain though.
