Winter Solstice 2010 Drombeg stone circle (No bikes)

Headed west to Drombeg stone circle with one of the lads at work for the setting sun this afternoon but was greeted with snow when we reached Rosscarbery, didnt matter, good to be there, small crowd too, few pics

You would wonder how planning was allowed for the monstrosity overlooking the circle..............nah, its Ireland, damn full sure somebody's arse pocket in high circles was well lined

Thought about going to a local stone circle for the eclipse, but the snow put me off at 6;30AM....

Experience all right, nothing like having a frozen water supply from my well to the house, pipes from attic frozen, we're not used to this very cold weather, time to seriously upgrade insulation around the plumbing with Armaflex and do a few other jobs David
