Winterising-Storage

Hi all,

Lucky this year as managing to go off with my other half to South America for six weeks (Dec-Jan, Argentina, Chile and Peru).

As a result has anybody got any tips on winterising a R100GS/PD or R1150GS?

Normally I just ride enough to keep everything going...

Assuming the bike is stored in the dry, for 6 weeks I simply wouldn't bother. Even the battery shouldn't go flat in that time. If you have a power sapping alarm fitted might be worth investing in an Optimate charger to keep the battery in top condition.

Chris, I'd offer to bike sit for ya but what am I supposed to do with 2 mile munching GS's on an Island of 45 square miles
