If you're going off the main roads then yes, tho at this time of year worth keeping them in the car along with wee shovel and all the usual stuff. If the A9 gets a dump you could be glad of them

Was out on Cairngrim on ski's yesterday, skinned from Ciste car park to Marquis Well and the snow is bloody lovely for this time of year
I also had a run around on the CCM today seeing that the usual stormy conditions have closed the hill again...best of both worlds and happy days!

Aye, some great snow yesterday, bit heavy today. But it's a start. 4 years ago it started like this and the snow round the house stayed till March, the hills were awsome

Yup, I was out on the ski's again when you were slithering around yesterday Steve but the big hairdryer is coming out again midweek so all that nasty ice will get a shift.
