hi,im wireing up my garmin on my 1150,wheres the best place to take the power from?,is it better for it to keep live with ignition off or better for it to be dead when the ignition is off???????:nenau

i suppose thats best, then it doesnt go off everytime i turn off

exactly.

battery powered zumo on a 1200, i'd take from the dedicated sat nav socket. maybe from a switched supply on an 1150 too. for some reason i can't understand i think you don't have a zumo. possibly the way you write "garmin", not "zumo"?

a long time ago, but what the heck........

This is the only way..............
