I'm heading down to Morocco in a few days, but I expect I'll have to do some work crap while I'm down there. Should I expect to be able to find some kind of WiFi internet access without too much trouble in places like Ouarzazate, Zagora, erg chebbi, etc.?

Also, I'd read somewhere about some kind of wireless card for use on the Moroccan cell network, but don't remember where I saw it? Anybody know about this?

Some hotels have WIFI, another way is to get a prepaid sim card and a USB dungle. The sim card is around 300 Dirham, and the same for the USB dungle.

Thanks, does the sim card/dongle solution have pretty decent coverage and speed? I assume these are offered by cell phone companies, is one of them any better than the rest?

Well there should be coverage where there is phone coverage (3G), as for speed, it will varie, but the one I borrowed gave me ~1MB/s down and 128kb/s up. Which is enough for email, and upload of a few photos.

I talked to some people in a 4x4 (Truck) who had surfed the interenet in the middle of absolutly no where....

Great, thanks for the info. Hopefully I can avoid the need to get one of these, but depends on what's going on at work while I'm gone. If I pick one up, will post my results here.
