Just ordered a split soundbomb but I'm shit with electrics. I have a pdm60 fitted so live and ground will come from that, but what about the wires that come from the horn switch on the handlebars?
Anyone done one? Any help or pics on how its all wired up much appreciated :)

I'm shit at electrics as well, it will come with a wiring diagram, and even I could follow it... wire from the battery to the relay, wire from the original horn connectors to the same relay, and one to earth... simples.... it even comes with a relay. all you'll need to be able to do is attach spade connectors to cable, and have some spare to lengthen the original wiring etc ... if you can manage that you'll be really pleased with yourself when you've got it fitted.

If you get the connector from BMW or Nippy Norman your "trigger" wire for the relay will just plug into the look in place of the existing horn. You will then feed the relay with 12v from the PDM60 which then goes to the horn + terminal. The horn - terminal will connect to - on the PDM60.

Sorry Tom can i have a link to the connector and i appreciate your input but can you explain it a bit better. Struggling to follow it a bit (lot) here :P

Strike that the penny's dropped :) just the link please, I don't know what Im looking for on NN

The horn takes 20 amps. You'll have to use circuit #5 on your PDM60 to handle that. Then make sure that the other circuits are not set to >40A total.

Thanx to all for your help :thumb Drawn myself a little diagram and should be straight forward now, cheers. :beerjug:
