Anyone here know if there was an factory intended use for the vacant blue wiring loom connector that can be found at the right side rear of the frame on later model Airheads. It's the one that is usually sealed off by a black blank cap.?????

It's the connector at the right side rear of the frame spine and aft of the open rectangle bracket where the relays are mounted. I've never seen anything in that plug and it is usually blanked by a black plastic cap. Presumably it is on the GS models and most certainly on the mono road bikes.

Just had a look at both my paralevers but neither have them. It could be the solenoid connections for certain markets.

on an R80 ST it was the control circuit for the extra lights system that you could buy for them

One light came on with Dip beam and would extinguish and the other would come on with full beam and vice versa

its adaptation using this loom (I can;t find the correct diagram with the plug in loom I have fitted one of these on an R80ST ) and set up LINKY

Ah I found it Well I had it sent to me as the bloke had it in his file Cheers Graeme
