I want to fit a second power accessory socket on the front beak, running off the canbus satnav connector at the headstock. Having received the socket itself from Motorworks, instead of the expected spade connectors, it has a plug on the back which is "B" - shaped in section with two long pins inside.

I've ordered the sat nav connector from NN to plug onto the wiring loom, but can I get the corresponding connector for the back of the accessory socket and if so, where from and what's the best way of connecting it?

Any advice/experience gratefully received! Thank you.

I fitted the BMW accessory kit a couple of years ago:

Remove beak, fit template, drill hole.
Refit beak, fit socket, plug into accessory socket under seat (piggyback connector).

A doddle.

Are you sure the wiring connector you have isn't the piggyback type for the underseat wiring?

Pukmeister was correct

It was a doddle, using a oem piggy back connector supplied by Wollastons for £14 - took all of 30 mins..... Thanks again!

You don't happen to have the part number or "official" description, I want to fit a Centec fuse panel with the relay switched from the socket. The piggyback connector would make life easy:)

John's correct - sorry, I binned the parts bag with the number on it, but Richard at Wollastons knew exactly what I was after straightaway
