I car,nt send mail from my windows laptop, I can recive it no problem but car,nt send ?

Also when I close internet explorer down, the next time I try to go online it cannot connect, a box pops up, I have to right click and then click on repair...this then procedes to retrive a new ip address and other stuff....

All this since a windows update a while back..

I,m using xp home...
My mac does,nt have any problems like this ?

Can anybody shed any light coz it,s pizing me orf...

For your mail problem : If your using Outlook Express Try :Tools /Accounts/internet accounts/Mail /(select your account)properties/servers/settings/outgoing mail server.and select option to use the same settings as incoming mail. see if that helps!
