Wisdom required on a Dr John.

Please can a wise person shed some light on how many Daytona Dr John's where made. I am getting conflicting information from my book and the internet.
Also a rough idea of value of a used example with approx 18k with all the historyetc etc.
Any info would be really much appreciated.

.......The total number of Dr John Daytonas ( Black, Dr Johns signature on tail, B kit engine,Termis ...etc etc) was 20 !! ThreeCross imported them but some were re exported straight away to enthusiasts in Europe. In 93 the new price to buy was over £11500,.....so not cheap back then....I actually own no3/20 and I honestly don't know what it's worth.......somewhere out there ,there's a collector who'd pay big bucks.....wherever they are ????
