Wobble

Hello all you tech BMW gurus..
I have a problem with my GSA.. when riding up to 25-30 mph I have a side to side almost out of balance wobble. Hard to describe but feels like a buckled wheel but it is not that obvious.
Also maybe just me but feels like the handle bars are loose on the top yoke. Are these rubber mounted. Only moves if I stand on pegs whit bike on centre stand and pull/push each side up down in a side to side kind of in that way?? Clear as mud I know. But the top yoke ( or like a top yoke ) moves with the bars. I thought brg on yoke might be loose but looks OK. Also thought rubber caps at top of fork tubes might be damaged/worn but again they look ok.

Well re wobble or side to side weave thing issue, after 30-35 mph it is gone.
Wheel brgs seem ok, rear drive not loose ( no lateral movement ) and I have no idea. Thought TKC on front might be out of round or other but again on inspection it looks OK.

Any ideas or maybe other things to look at. Don't really want to take it to BMW dealer but might have to.

Cheers for any help you may be able to offer.
Either on forum or email [email protected]

Cheers all.

Have you checked Rear tyre ?

I had similar "wobble" which only appeared at certain speeds - finally worked it out as a fault in the rear TKC80 after a certain amount of wear.

Both my Dakar and Adv do/did this (I was forever checking tyre pressure/SHBs). Only on certain tarmac types though. So assume it's the TKCs.

Live with it yer Jessie!

Right then

Jessie.... oh go on then.

Spout, not sure as feel it is getting worse and last lot of TKC's were fine, in fact brilliant.
Hmm, me thinks you need to have a ride as very weird indeed.
