Wobbly clocks

Have my (heavy) phone on a Migsel mount on the clocks of my 1100. Trouble is, the whole lot does wobble a lot, especially on rough roads. Anyone found a way to stop the clocks bouncing around so much - would replacing the rubber bushes make much of a difference? When I had my Zumo up there it used to hit the screen even leaving a fairly large gap.
