On the road, for now:-)
Hi there, I have noticed that my 1100's gearshift lever seems to be quite wobbly, my question is can I replace the bearing, if it has one or do I need a new lever assembly. She has done almost 80k miles.
On another note, I need to change the QR fuel disconnects as one of them has failed, does anyone know where I can find good quality replacements I've metal ones?, I've found the complete set on eBay from California for about £79 delivered, they are CTC stainless kit just like the plastic original ones.
Thanks in advance, :thumby::bow

Do a Google image search for 'Quick disconnect fuel fittings' and you get THIS

Then with a browse down (or just add 'steel' to the search parameters) and you'll find loads for a hell of a lot less than 80 dollars. :thumb2

Also try any pneumatic fitting suppliers......there are many hundreds around the country, mainly catering to the haulage and plant industries, but nearly all of them will either carry SS QD units or certainly have a catalogue to select them from.......buying from an industrial supplier will get the price down to under 20 quid a set :thumb

PS don't be afraid of the chrome coated brass ones....cheaper and perfectly adequate for the job.

Advice

Thanks all for the sound advice, as usual. I'm on the browse now for the bits, there's life in the old 1100 yet. Cheers:beerjug:
