Wobbly Screen

HI All,

I have an05 gs with genuine gsa screen and bracket fitted, also I have a garmin Zumo on a migsel bracket on the screen brace bar, I am gonna be doing a bit of off roading soon, mostly rocky trails and tracks, atm the screen and whole light/instrument cluster bounces around terribly, I have checked all mounts that i can see, has anyone else had this or cured it, I just have visions of it all shearing off and dropping on the floor!!

I do a lot of off road in Northern New England and Eastern Canada on my GSA and have never noticed the bouncing that you refer to. I do notice that the clocks move more than the Streetpilot that I have on the BMW mount. But they don't move much.......maybe something is loose.

I had this problem too on my 05 GS with Adventure screen and M/Cconcepts satnav mount . The lower screen support strut had actually sheared right through and was replaced under warranty ( I mean the metal hoop that the screen is fixed to and the threaded fixings go through on each side )
