My wife needs to replace her Hein Gericke leathers following an altercation with a car bonnet. We have visited most of the bike dealers in our area and are shocked with the lack of choice on offer. We went to a Dianese Pro shop where she was offered one black jacket and one design of trousers (and the stock consisted of one size 10). Visited Hein Gericke Oxford yesterday and there was only one of the 3 ladies leather jacket/trouser combos there and not in all the sizes.

If you go on line there are loads of manufacturers advertising ladies leathers but she needs to find somewhere where they actually stock the items so she can try them for size. One company's 10 is anothers 14 if you know what I mean.

So if any of you know of a good supplier of ladies leathers not too far from the bristol area, let me know.

Ta.

I would suggest they are beyond economical repair. The stitching and leather has been abraded and the armour at the hip and knees took a heavy knock (though they did their job well). I always err on the side of caution with bike kit, it did it's job once and the car driver's insurance company paid for replacement -25%. We got her helmet sorted. Amazingly her boots and gloves escaped without a scratch.

Thanks for the suggestion all the same.:beerjug:

My wife bought leathers at a Brands Hatch BSB round. There plenty of equipment stands with lots to try on. Visit one of the BSB rounds near you and make a day of it.
