wonky mirrors

dont know whether anyone has had this.
was in Assen on my 2010 gsa. on way home.
adjusted the mirror and the mirror arm came loose and started swinging around , on motorway whilst doing 90mph.
stopped, got tool kit out and tightened up but it came loose again.

Re-tighten, properly.

Depending on the year of your bike there are two different sets of wing mirror clamps:

(1) Earlier, a simple push fit, where the lower nut stops the assembly spinning and the upper bolt compresses a clamp.

(2) Later models, a traditional two nut fitting where the upper nut is reversed threaded.

I know what your talking about, its a pain...after i tightened them all ok...but i have knocked them and out come the spanners again...
I am thinking of those folding type with ram mount fitting only £20 each..
