Hi all
don't know if anyone can help but problem is as follows
R1100 GS (95), riding the other day and just cut out on me.
it will start but soon as you open the throttle it dies
replace fuel filters and fuel pipes, test pump all ok
replace tps switch (as diag tool said faulty) but still no joy
anyone got any ideas ?

Have a look in the font if you aint already

Throttle boddies
Im sure Steptoe did a thread about the wiring loom on 1100`s , wear and tear and causing probls like you describe, try a search for that, its here somewhere.

That's just what my 1100 did @ 70,000 mile turned out to be hall sensors (do a search)

It was the Hall Sensors
replaced them and all is running well again
