Hi all,

I normally lurk but thought I'd throw out a tidbit.

Under heavy rainfall, there is this whacky spot that exists in the cylinder block, that can hold a fair amount of rain water. It doesn't drain, it just collects. I dunno, maybe its 8 inches in from the valve cover?

So, you start up the bike and its full of water. No problem. The water starts to heat, and boil. No problem, in fact its amusing. You forget about the boiling water pull a big wheelie when the light turns green. Yeah, problem.

I wasn't sure if I suffered a mechanical failure, a drive by shooting, or divine intervention. Suffice to say, I didn't crash, I'm not dead, but I've learned that lesson.

Just in case I wasn't clear, the lesson is to only wheelie while standing - your shins can take boiling water much better than, well, other parts.
