I’ve been less active on the board recently, that’s just because I’m really busy at work.

G.C., you are a lucky man. Last night, Mrs Swollocks and I had the talk about relocating to your part of the world. I made enquiries about a job, it looks quite possible. We both love the area and she still thinks..."some day"

First she said yes, then she remembered her mum and dad... then shot me down.

In the mean time, I will keep visiting on my trusty GS, dreaming of the day I will become part of the Scottish section.

I am heading over on Friday, for a 3 nighter. Prob do a run up to Ullapool first night, then am meeting two friends and staying 2 nights at Invergarry.

Will you be about the Lochy late lunch time Friday? If so, I will call in for lunch. If not, I will try to call in over the weekend, with the two gimps on brand new KTMs. Ps, let me know where your other place is, if that's where you are gonna be. Would like to meet you, as we were sent down to offend you by HRH of Skye in April..... but luckily you werent home!

Hi Betty Swollocks, as CC says spending most of my time at the Inn just now. Give me a ring when you are about. 0771 891 6981 :thumb2
Last snowfall was 20th June on the hills, that should be us till September. Snow on the peaks all year round.
I was right, its still waiting for me :D

GC watch your arse when the gimps arrive with the tosser!! :ymca Raging that the TAX man wont let me go and play with BETTY on this weekender. And for the record I will sell or even better give my GS away if Betty ever gets the permission of Mrs Swollocks to relocate!!! :augie

Again smashin GC .Was up your neck of the woods last monday .Soaked to my knickers I was coming down the Speanbridge road ,got caughtin the roadworks at the golf course,i was so pissed off at Fart William i turnd up Glen Nevis put big smile on my face till i hit little wet WOOD bridge at speed and ended up with a little brown mark in boxers. For some obscure reason i thought i would come out at the Clachaig in Glencoe .No all the way back, but it was ****in great anyhow.Time for another ,goin out tomorrow though ,bike juiced up ,fancy Kinloch Rannoch Station.Never been there do they sell pies .

After reading GC's post and admiring the photos I got inspired to escape for an hour this afternoon and found this wee loch not far from here.
It was utterly deserted up there and I spend a nice long while just sitting by the lochside in the silence and sunshine....No other traffic passed,no sign of other people, just silence. Just what I needed.

We're so lucky having all this on our doorstep.

SO true, nice pic wully. Thats what I do, doing it again tomorrow :thumb2

Bigjets, you can get to Kinloch over the hills, I used to do it on my 650on a regular basis. Have`nt dont it on the GSA, not sure Im able to do it (alone) lift it out of a ditch that is, no mobile signal to seek help, sort of defeats the purpose of heading away for a few hours just to clear the head and chill. But not from Glen Nevis! ;) Binned my FL650 on the wooden bridge just before the top carpark up by Steall, at the head of the Glen a few years ago, really cautious of them now
