I went road up to beeswing near to Dumfries and made camp its a nice little place. Next i moved onto Benderlochon the A828 where the campsite over looked the sea and some hills which look fanteastic shrowded in a bit on mist.
Then it was on the fort willian another nice town as i got of the bike i was greeted by a piper busking in full highland regailer which was great being used to buskers in stafford playing a guitar or something this was a real treat.
i wandered around the shops for a bit looking for a scotland sticker whenever i go on i bike trip i have get a sticker

Anyway with stickers in hand i wandered back to the bike and headed of to skye. All i can say about skye
is OH MY GOD mile after mile of brath taking views. before i left i asked H.R.H
Tash if there was anywhere nice to camp on skye as she was a local and bloody hell she wasn't wrong the campsite was at the foot of the cullin hills with a loch. Ive been all over western europe and ive got to say this place has got me gob smaked.Anyway next day i packed my stuff and headed for the local distillery as my dad had also sent me on a quest so off to carbost and taslisker distillery and then to durness up the A894. I arrived at a campsite right on the edge of the clifts blue sea and golden sands again with hills with a wee bit of mist. i set up camp and wondered inthe village looking for the shops as my rations were somewhat depleated and found the local post office and spa were in one and were selling everythin from food and drink to camping gear

.After spending a great day at durness and getting a bit of a tan i moved onto John o groats along the A838 which strangly enough was a main road but was just a single lane a proper gs road

i arrived in thurso freezing my nut off wet and blown all over the place north east scotland has no trees there all in norway as Billy Connely would say. I filled my bike up and buggered off arriving in john o groats
just after 2 and thought is this it

i pulled up at the pointer
no prepared to pay any money for a photo i put my bike as close as i could took a pic and buggered off

. Right onto Wick. Wick is a very nice town
after making camp again still wet from durness morning i wondered into town
and noticed a kilt shop

but unfortunatly didnt have the Lewis family tarten but it was worth the try. I had a great time in Wick. Next day i was off to see nessie and camped at my town Lewistonand snuck into urquart castle after hours

oh forgot to say that while on the way to skye i camped at Dornie where Eliean Donan castle which was anothe OH MY GOD
moment.anyway after a shit night sleeping on a slop and french belique and finlanders talking most of the night i pissed off early as i wanted to get to stirling via Braemar and Balmoral castle and culloden battle field can you tell i like history. Culloden was good to visit you really get to find out what happened and i have to say i was ashamed to be english. i took some pics
of the grave stones of the clans and moved on taking in the cairngorms nation park along the A939 its quite funny seeing a ski resort with no snow
it all seams kinda pointless. I arrived at Balmoral parted the bike paid my £7 quid or what ever it was and walked up the long drive to the castle either side is woodland with little signs by the road saying Red squirel crossing ive never seen a red squirel all we get are the gray imports.these trees are huge
there were probably here when queen Victorier was yo can definatly see why
she bought this place and why she called it her highland haven. Anyway next on the list is The william wallace monument anyone who has seen brave heart
the real story is different from the film William Wallace wasn't a peasent but a knight and the youngest of 4 brothers and by the time of his capture in 1307
he was only 21 hes cirtainly one of my heros.anyway it was getting late i found the moument you couldnt miss it really its mahusive and stands on a hill overlooking stirling. I took some pics and decided to look for a campsite
this turned out to be a ball ache i headed out of town looking for a campsite that is listed on my map. A wise Jedi once said "a solution will aways present itself" and it did campsite this way wicked i road in paid my £5 quid and set up camp sweet

The next day the idea was to see stirling castle and rob roy visitor centre and Hadrians wall and then home but to be honest i was knackard so i packed up and headed for the wall ill do the others next time.
