I would just like to thank everyone who has helped in the last year.It doesn't matter if you bought a full set of panniers,an indicator stalk,or just called in for a chat,it all helps in some way.:thumb2

Here's to you all having a good new year, and I hope you won't all be strangers. The kettles always on.

Thanks a lot one and all, take care and ride safe:beerjug:

Vern

PS None of this applies to Kenny who has drunk his own weight in coffee and nicked more stainless fasteners than I knew I had.Scouse twat:blast

Whats the best way to contact you?

Ragrads
Daz

I bought a pair of these last year based on the comments from this site,
(Vern I was the one looking for a farm in South Wales still looking :()

I’d like to thank those members who put those comments, these are the daddy of panniers. :thumb2:thumb2

Anybody in the market for panniers should seriously check these out, it very unusual to get this craftsmanship at these prices.

cheers Vern keep up the excellent work and good luck for 2009:beerjug:

:bow:bow:bow

Just one question what's the font you use for the decals?

Not only do they hold all the crap I lug around, but they're a guaranteed conversation-starter anywhere there are other riders.

I'm on my second set - but only because I was stupid enough to sell the first when I sold my last 1150 :D How are they, Neil? Done a few more miles with you in more interesting places than I ever took 'em :D

They still working perfectly. At the moment my merc estate is parked on them. They're great for use as axle stands as well as superb panniers. :thumb

Aspirations

My aspirations are to own a pair of these exquisite products when I am a wealthy man:clap:drool

Got my Verns, Got my Verns!

Wife and I had a lovely (albeit short) trip up to Chester to collect my ... er... our 10 inch wide panniers (I think I get half of one and she gets the rest of the space). Have never had better service anywhere... apart from that masseuse in the Maldives but hey, Vern is a man in a cold shed so I was happy just to get the panniers.

As you'll see there is ample room for the BMW top box and I believe any size lids will still clear. No issues even with the Remus exhaust... well not for me anyway. I think Vern had a little tinker and sorted out any issues... like my pegs and a rear wheel bolt that was loose :blast . I swear I loosened it as we arrived just to see if he really is as good as everyone says :Motomartin Test passed. :beerjug:

Attached is a few photos, then I'm off to do the grocery shopping :augie. They do fit a weeks groceries... just don't pack the eggs on the bottom... maybe a seperate compartment on the back for eggs would be a good idea(?).

Many thanks and I'll be back to camp in the field and try to steal... I mean buy that shiny red thing you have in your shed... just sitting there... wasting away...
