I've been Vern'ed

Old frames off, New frames and on, looking good and then ....

Just as we were having a cuppa, the local tramp walked in :aidan

He was wearing a thin blokes Rukka trousers.

Once the Tramp had gone to fetch lunch we managed to make progreess...

Pannier 1

I was ready to pay and leave at this point, but Vern said no there's another one to fit yet.

I said "What?????" I get 2 panniers of this quality, supplied and fitted for this price.

Yes said Vern ....:D But not if you keep talkin bollix like that, I'll hit you with one of my many wooden bats. Baseball seems to be very popular around this part of Chester. :augie

The tramp came back with the food, Sausage and brown sauce butty. Absolute shyte. :pullface

After lunch we really got stuck in and lo and behold .....

2 Vern's worldbeaters being finely polished and finished off, with EXTRA Knurly knobs on the inside of the pannier. :thumb

Vern then kindly shared his suggary sweets with me and the Tramp, Vern gave the Tramp some of his own EXTRA knurly knobs :comfort

Kev has got extra knurled bobbins and the small round tramp type chap has extra knarled ones:rolleyes:

We're going to set up a couple of pics with my 11 inch low lids and Gert's reconditioned hi-lids with the amphib and possibly a tank soon, out on the marshes (just gotta get the amphib taxed :rolleyes:) :beerjug:

Gert's hi-lids look the dogs bollox, but for pillion friendly riding, the low lids have it for me :thumb2

I washed 'em ( a good boiling/bleaching was req'd ) and presented them to the Mrs for our anniversary:augie

Just about for order a lowering kit ( for the DRZ not the Mrs :D )
