Worth money or better buying cheap

I bought the cheap Chinese hugger. The bolts did indeed get loose a couple of times, I check the bolts once a week now, Id say ill probably buy the more expensive one eventually.

If you like your hugger, then just replace the bolts with known brand and use main bolt a bit longer so you can put the counter nut on the end of the bolt. Thare is enough room for that. That is how I've done it and it's never got loose again. But, after one month the bracket broke. It has been tightened to Puig specs. After that I purchased Puig one and tightened it to Puig specs. That one lasted for almost 6 months and then the bracket broke too.
After all that I gave up and now I have Mudsling only.

The solution to loose bolts is either tightening then or a very small dab of threadlocker. A friend has an original Puig hugger (ie, the ‘more expensive one’) and his bolts also came loose. Resulting in a near crash on a roundabout. Where a hugger comes from has no correlation to bolts coming loose.

The only solution (I used when had the hugger) was longer bolts with locking nut on the other end.
