Not really sure
For all you 1150 luddites out there (yes I am one as well), perhaps I could crave your indulgence for a short while. I am planning a the purchase of another GS in the near future, and an 1150 adventure is definately in the mix. I have previously owned a standard GS, but am now looking at an Adventure version. My Mrs loved the 1150, found it very comfortable, but I am very conscious of the fact that the seat is different on the Adventure. So, I am canvassing opinion from them wot know as to how pillions find the adventure seat, and if not, what have peeps done to alter or replace the seat to improve things. I am aware that it is possible tp change the subframe to the standard gs system and if necessary will look to to go this route, although not preferred.

It is imperative that the pillion comfort is maintained.

Waddya reckon chaps?

1150 gs adventure

My missus isn't really used to any sort of pillion work and after an hour needs a break

I my self am fine for at least a few hours

The fix for her was an air-hawk, she says it's a revelation and can sit on the back for as long as I can stand it

My missus is quite happy with the standard seat
She's happy to stop when I've had enough
We have had Sargent seats I thought too hard
Tony archer has one of mine at the moment he's re sculpting reforming and a custom cover far better for me doesn't suit everyone Enjoy the GSA I love them
And a proper Luddite from huddersfield :thumb2

had a new seat made for me .the guy who made it said sit on the back and see how much of your bum is on the seat, their wasn't much.so new seat £125 best deal ever

Up to you but my missis didn't like the standard ADV seat, liked the Corbin saddle I had and much prefares my old r850r seat.

Just sold the adventure seat I had as Mrs didn't like it compared to the standard pillion which she finds really comfortable....

My Missus found the adventure seat shorter than the GS so I got a touratech seat extension, mine also has a sergant seat.I've moved the adventure top case and rack a couple of inches backwards and put a backrest pad on it.She also has an air hawk.Spoiled but happy.:thumb
