Wow the price of a new fully kitted GSA !

Wasn't in the market for an AT - so yes...... missed it.

sounds like desperate measures to sell a model though?

But - must have tempted a lot of folk.

I don't think it was desperate measures to sell model, it wasn't Honda uk who started the trend, it was due to the fact one dealer john banks started the trend by trying to sell a lot of AT at a discounted rate to be registered by sept so that they could make on the dealer bonus and whilst other dealers were up n arms about it and would not entertain doing the same deal, some other dealers jumped on the band wagon and honoured the exact deal I even got free delivery (£100) I think 600 AT were registered in September.

Neither was i in the market but I'm intrigued to want to try a DCT and this was a perfect opportunity and a no brainer more so now with the rise of the interest rate.

17 quid a week for a 12k + bike:blast ..i really didn't need one, never sat on one never mind ridden one, its brilliant and great fun, something ive missed in a Bike...snooze you lose

I like it so much the GSA is going! For now anyway.

With the level of discount on the AT, JOHN Banks must have had support from Honda, they must have had excess stock and needed to clear it before 2018, there are new midrange adventure bikes coming in 18/19 from bmw and KTM.

I'm not selling my GSA. But I totally understand your decision.

Really like the Africa Twin, and really like the DCT. Much easier and quicker to wash and clean compared to GSA. All round good bike.

BMW GSA still wins for comfort, weather protection, toys, pillion riding.

But Africa Twin is still very good.

Absolutely not haha.

Like to see you buy that for £9000 on 0% Finance and No Deposit.

Great option for someone paying full price for it though as it's a great bike to own.

Nobody's bottom has fallen out of anything. Unless you missed the bargain boat before it sailed away :D

But if I did want 300 mile fuel range, a quickshifter, fly-by-wire throttle, electronic suspension, yadayadayada...

Well if course, I'd take my GSA.

I see Honda have revamped the Africa twin . Loads of updates and an adventure model with a bigger tank, ride by wire 20mm higher suspension. Do you think it will upset residuals on your cheap pcp deal bikes in 3 years time ?

Does it matter if your handing it back!!!

Fair enough if you give it back. Just wondered if Honda gave the great deals because the revamp was coming. Devalues the bike you may have actually "bought" . It's happened with KTM who always discount then issue a new model. I get why some do pcp , it's just not for me. Did it with Harley's in the 90's and always felt raped at the end of the term

Each to there own Rob but this was to cheap to turn down in my eyes! The bike does everything i need really im wondering why i spent 15 -16k on the GSA. Live and learn.
