WOW

My little brother had one , I'd happily pay £10500 for the "feeling I had back in 1980 when I rode it for the first time !

mind you , everything has changed now and memories are probably "rose-tinted"?

(I do think; in a way, two-strokes are what motorcycling is all about ?)

It's only done 570 miles but had an engine rebuild.

Anyway it's still a nice bike.

I wonder when this rose tinted bubble of late 40s and 50s blokes buying kit from their yoof will burst ?

About another 10 years, Dave

Rose tinted and all that........................Best left in the 1970's and 80's

This is another example, finishing over the weekend - the Yam TY250 Mono, especially Pinky editions are rising fast

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-TY...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Mainly due to people riding them 25 years ago and there is a new national Kia supported championship series to ride them in

This one made £5600..................I remember paying £2600 for a new one in 1993:blast and I was talking to a chap on Sunday who has the same bike, brand new and still in the crate, he'll be happy

I'd pay that to feel some of the things I did in the 80s:D

I used to proddy race them back in the 80s they were rocket ships, I rode one about 5 years ago it was an unpleasant, bouncy ring dinging nightmare (and it was a fairly good one).

Should have left it as a memory

seems the right moment to bring this up...

this, of course, could have been made for the 80's and the (original) LC brigade!!
