The trick seems to be to wait at the bottom of some bits for the car infront to clear that section, giving you a clear run.

Any impatient cagers behind you can just wait.

Did it on the GS last september with the wife on the back and full luggage. I loved it,she burst into tears in between the 2 passes and was grumpy all the way home ( all 250 miles of it) . She was petrified apparantly. Silly cow.......

The wobblers in cars are a real danger as they have no handle of how awkward a fully laden bike is on those tight uphill hairpins , and just go soooo slow in front of you just when you need a quick stab of speed to get you round the corners.

Next time I'll do it solo so I can give it a real blast.

Marcus.:D
you have my simpathy marcus !! my wife is excactly the same completely freaks going over high passes .
dont think she will be too pleased next month going through swiitzerland and if its open i intend to re-visit the the san gothard and the surcee pass. she wont sulk too long i hope.:shoot: :shoot:

My other half went into hysterics on the first roundabout so now she stays at home or goes by car ;)

The bike is much better balanced now :D :D
