Just fitted new brake and clutch levers to wifey's CS as she only has little hands(bless).
All went well apart from the brake lever doesn't return fully thus not making contact with the micro switch to turn the brake light off. tried adjusting the switch but movement is limited. It has all been WD40'd but still won't return. Anyone had this problem or know how to solve it.

i have the same levers...........and if i have them as close as poss...then my clutch one won't allow the bike to start with it pulled in and still in in gear i have to have it one click further away....maybe you need to turn the brake lever a click round...........if ya know what i mean.... the dial on each has 4 or 5 different settings....

hi:augie i have already been there and got the t shirt:)
fitted them to joannes scarver.i had the same problem.
ended up fitting a piece of heatshrink tubing over the end over the end of the brake lever tab.
gives enough contact with the micro swith.
i also had to change the rusted spring inside the brake reservoir assembly;)

and like janie, clutch lever gave problem on nearest to bars position.had to mess with cltch cable adjuster.:D
