Can't believe I am asking this, but does anyone have a picture of the Wunderlich Bar bag fitted to their LC. I picked up a new one at the weekend, and maybe it's the runt of the litter but the velcro seems really short so the only way to position it is so that it's resting on the tank. Am I missing something blindingly obvious :) it's only 4 velcro tabs after all :blast

There was a thread on here showing it fitted, but the pictures have been removed.

I have one but no photos for you. They will all be uniform size, so I suspect you've fitted it facing the wrong way. Try fitting it 'back-the-front'. In other words, the velcro flaps open from the binnacle back towards you, as opposed to vice versa, which would make the straps too short. So, to reiterate, the bulk of the bag should be on the far side of the bars from you, not on the inside. Should you need help with left and right shoes, give me a shout :augie

:aidan That's why I was asking the stupid question. It's fitted the right way round, so that you peel the velcro flap towards you, but there's so little length in the straps it just pops off. I suspect I have a duff one or one from a bad batch perhaps, but fitting it the "correct" way, the straps don't pull round far enough to fasten it securely.

yes, I thought the same and tried it round about. It did fasten better than the apparent 'right' way, but as you say there is not much velcro to securely attach it.........

Here you go.

Thanks mate, that's the way I have it fitted, but the Velcro tab's don't stretch round far enough to secure it so I am guessing they may have changed the design slightly or I've got a duff one.

No worries.
They don't go as far as you'd think even on mine and there is still Velcro pad showing but it was the same on my 04 GS and the bag didn't move all the way to Stelvio pass.
If it's from a shop could you compare it with another?
Or drop an email asking them for how large the tabs should be.
I have seen the new ones with the clear panel but thought that was all they changed.
Hope you get sorted as it is really useful.

Just to wrap this up :) I had a dodgy bag, nipped back to the dealer, checked it against another they had in stock, same bag, but my velcro tab's / straps where about an inch shorter so they swapped it out (Possibly a one off or a bad batch)

Job's a good 'un, and now fit's perfectly.

I trimmed about 5mm off of my new bag's backbone to get the fit perfect. It had a "bump" in the middle where it flexed when fitted, it's perfectly flat now.
