I had my first ride out after having fitted the brake pedal enlarger plate. It has transformed the ability to control the rear brake pressure during low speed manoeuvring. Gives me a lot more confidence and feel with the back brake and that is even through the thick sole on the Sidi boots.

The Sidi's highlighted the need to adjust the gear lever. They have actually been great and are very comfortable and give great support to dodgy ankles. Stuffed an ankle many years ago chasing a burglar in another life. The brake pedal and footrest as delivered needed me to tip my foot in and forward too much to get a nice feel, with softer boots and the Sidi's. The enlarger just works and I am not having to think about finding it.

Was only pulling your leg, I completely understand.

I've luckily not had to adjust either gear or brake. My right foot is ok but my left gives me jip. My ankle is connected to my knee by 14" of titanium !

I have to wear a softer boot...

:-)
