Wunderlich Cruise Control - tips for fitting?

Bought one from Ewan of this parish, just wondered if it was simply a case of replacing the bar weight with it and chocks away, or is there anything I need to be aware of?

Also, how does it actually engage when on the road, do I need to flap about with my little finger to engage it, or is it 'on' all the time as I'm opening the throttle?

Hi Snappo,

Should be a direct replacement, no dramas.

How you use it is up to you, and how much friction you put on. You can 'leave it on' but you then have to positively close the throttle, rather than just letting it roll off. I tended to have it off, or with minimal friction that would still allow it to close on the spring, for normal riding, then a couple of rolls of the toothed disc with the little finger when entering a motorway or dual carriageway would increase the friction and engage 'cruise'!

Thanks mate, that's what I was looking for, some 'real world' user tips - looking forward to giving it a spin on Sunday, off up to Ladybower with some mates.
