hi has anyone fitted wunderlich engine bars to a 1200gs and thinking about collecting a set on saturday but cannot find any reviews or pictures of same {maybe i am a bit thick) and information about the quality and maybe a pitcure would be great. thanks

I might be wrong, but I think I've heard it said that they are realy SW Motech bars sold by Wunderluch (for a higher price)

Anyone correct me if I've got the wrong end of the stick?

Actually they are H&B bars. The bars are great but don't buy them from Wunderlich as they are more expensive.

I made that mistake and am now £25 poorer. That's quite a few pints. Get them from Motobins.

H&B bars

Frank,

I fitted H&B bars to my 1200 a few weeks ago. Very simple to fit and look good / good quality.

Got mine from motobins and delivered in a couple of days.

Recommended by me for what it's worth.

has anyone fitted tank bars or are these to much like a adventure want ta be and are they worthwhile

I haven't fitted the tank bars. I've dropped it once so far and it landed on the engine bars and the end of the grips. Tank bars not really needed in my opinion unless you want to mount lots of fancy stuff on them.

Also, you will need a torque wrench to mount the bars.
