does any one use one of these ,or has had one,i would really like a gsa screen with brace ,but at £300 ish ,its too much money, the ergo screen seems to be a fairly close copy, and at £140 is a lot cheaper,
i have a nippy norman high wide /tinted screen on there ,but to be honest i dont like the look of it ( yes it works great) but i like the look of the gsa,
come on be honest ,how many people have brought something just because it looks good!!
so if any one has a gsa screen they want to trade for cash /plus nn screen let me know
any thoughts on ergo screen appreciated

I've got one, I'm 6' tall and have the seat on the high setting. Pushes a lot of wind off you.

But I've gone small now and have really clean air around my head :)

I had one on my 1200, fitted with the BM winglets, very good set up, then I got a s/h GSA screen and fitted that, totaly better by miles :thumb2

I have one as well. Its ok and is better than the Standard Screen. Check carefully if you buy one as I rejected the first one I was sent, and the dealer rejected the replacement before I received an (just) acceptable one. Trouble is Iv,e been spoilt having had two K1200LT,s. Now thats a screen.

rejected the Ergo?
Why, as a matter of interest?

Ergo

I have the Ergo scren as well. I find it much better than the standard one, but like yourself, I would like to try the ADV one. I am using mine in combination with the winglets, which means that adjustability of the sceen is not great. To raise the screen above its lowest position brings it into contact with the winglets, before it gets to the second position. It also comes into contact with the beak section at the bottom of the screen. I know that I could get out the trimming tools and make some adjustments, but I am not that keen on chopping things around. Besides, it is pretty good where it is.
Cheers.:beerjug:

Faults in the moulding where the "tight" curves are just up from the mounting points. Faults about a third of the way up from the bottom. There are still faults in the one I accepted as I was getting cheesed off with returns etc. The whole episode from first ordering to accepting the third one took nearly 4 months.

I have just fitted one and am haooy with it. Clean air around your head. At high speed over a bumpy road the top vibrates a little but it does not worry the screen.

Have the Ergo on a 12GS for four years and has been much better than stock for clarity and clean air. Has been through everthing including a crossing gate coming down on it (don't ask). That said, am now changing to a R12GSADV screen style by Lee Baileys on that bike. Like the ADV OEM screen as well.

ADV Screen

Hi,

I tried the original and a NN screen and the wind battered my head, ive now gone for the GSA screen and im much happier, all i can add is that i wanted the GSA screen before i brought the NN one and even after i had the NN one, i still wanted, no needed :) the GSA one.

If you really want the GSA one save your pennies and get it.

hope this helps

Been thinking about getting the ergo screen or a gs one, but where from? spoke to vines in guildford the other day about it and they quoted about £400 for one!
really liking the look of the tinted one, is this a bmw part or an aftermarket one?

HI Jony Boy

Its a BMW one, the screen was £120 and the crossbar about £110, with all the bits and pieces it worked out just under £300 from North Oxford.

Hope this helps

I am happy with the Ergo screen. Keeps the wind off my helmet so its quite and i don't need ear plugs. I am 6' seat is high front low back. Never tried the ADV screen.
