Fitted the Wunderlich hand guard extenders purchased from Nippy's. They are simple to fit and actually work. Backs of the hands kept much warmer.

The picture is an accurate representation. It's not actually all about how they look but more how they work in real life. That was the point of my post. I have tried in the past to post pictures without success so have to put up with not having a real life :)

I still have mine in the box that they came in for my Xmas present, looking forward to getting them on the bike, Wunderlich do make good gear.

How is the deflection on the bottom? More or less protection than stock? I have yet to see a shot straight on that shows the bottom of these? Tops of my hands are fine with the OEM guards, I need more coverage/deflection from biting wind on bottom of guards. Thumb and fingertips mostly out in the breeze.

Definitely no more protection at lower half, the Wunderlich items fit snugly over the existing OEM part and blend-in around the horizontal centre line ie so they do not actually reach down past the lower half of the OEM part.

I guess that with the extensions fitted, you could angle the guards downwards slightly, thus protecting the bottom of your hands?:nenau

Touratech ones fitted today and work well :)

.....and for Nutty a couple of photos :D:D

Never mind the guards, how are you getting on with the Touratech seat????

Only fitted it yesterday and done 55 miles on it and so early days yet :D:D

It's the taller version and a lot firmer than standard and wider across the back - think I will get on with it but time will tell ;)
