I've just purchased a Wunderlich heated seat for my 2019 R1250GS and having looked at the instructions would prefer not to mount the on/off switch on the frame with zip ties as suggested as it woul dbe fiddly to perate the switch and just look wrong. Has anyone ever mounted the switch up on the bars or in the cockpit area, if so, any advice for where and what brackets to use (I have no problem with extending wires etc to accomplish this, it's bracketry that I want to get sorted. You do get a little screw on/zip tie on bracket with the kit, but if anyone knows of anything more substantial (even to a replacement switch) I'd welcome your thoughts. TIA.

Perhaps the Hex EasyCAN may do the trick?
From what I've heard, there is the option of controlling heated gear as one of it's uses.

Indeed that is one option @knutk, but as I don't have one (or need one other than for connecting the seat up in all honesty) was seeing if there are any other options rather than run to the cost of purchasing a Hex EasyCAN
