Wunderlich Motor Protection Cover

I'm thinking of buying a Wunderlich Motor Protection Cover (Part Number 13243-002) or cheaper alternative for my GS1300.




Has anyone tried fitting one of these along with an Advent Front Mudguard extender and, if so, is there clearance?

Bought one from Ali, still lying in the garage, stupid thing will never fit..... Quite strange, as all the other goodies from them fitted well.
No, I am not trying to fit it upside down!!
I fitted an extender (Ali again, but fits and works well) and by looking at your cover, yes, it should fit, quite a bit of space between the end of the extender and the bottom of the motor.

Thanks for that. I've now got the front mudguard extender. I'll get it fitted when I can (handicapped at the moment with a broken ankle!) and assess how much crud gets past the extender (from my exerience with the 1250, quite a lot.

I fi do decide to go for a engine cover I'll probably pay top dollar at Wunerlich and get something I know will fit.
