I'm looking for a set of aluminium Panniers and possibly top box. I've had stuff from Wunderlich before on the Xr and seems good quality and had seen their panniers.
But i cant find any information or reviews about them online. Has anyone got them / used them heard anything about them?

Thanks
Martin

If I was in the market for some I would buy Touratech..

Then when they fail, replace them with Metal Mules...

If you stare at Touratech panniers too long, they dent. They're even less tough than the OEM ones. Mules on the other hand are made of kryptonite...

I decided to try a set of Wunderlich 'Extreme' panniers in black powdercoat after years of using BMW corrodable jobbies . Very pleased with them , good top rubberseals , internal cargo nets etc . They fit the std BMW pannier rails if you have them or their own are a bit cheaper than the BMW ones . Ordered mine direct from Germany , delivery about 3/4 days and carriage cost inc. top box & brackets was under £5 ! If its not pissing with rain tomorrow I'll take some pics. and post them up here .

Cheers that would be good. They look good for the price. I like the fact the lid nets are included.uve a 17 plate GSA so think fit direct to the oem brackets?

Fookin ugly square boxes :D Just my opinion though ..

Have you looked at the Givi Dolomiti panniers ? I had some on my Versys and they were OK.

All depends on what you want them for and what you need them to do.

If it’s for road riding, pick the ones that you like the look of the most. If it’s for a big trip where the odds are the bike will get dropped, choose more carefully.

Doc’s right, Metal Mules are big ugly boxes but if you drop a bike with them fitted, the road’s more likely to get damaged than the pannier...

try and keep hold of this bike for a bit longer than the last one eh

It's already been stolen once and recovered via tracker & police !! Came back from Vines minus the toolkit & torch from the Sergent seat . They don't give a shit ! Way to loose a customer .

Yes its the topbox mount . Bit of a hefty beast is that bracket and the associated iron work . I'll fit it on & post some pics tomorrow if I get the time .

Pics of top box fitted as promised . The box sits about 2" higher than the BMW topbox . As I will use it infrequently its not a problem but if it bugs me too much it shouldn't be a problem to mod. the Wunderlich ironmongery to make it fit on the BMW handrails .
