I'm trying to find out which bikes this expandable rear rack will fit :

It looks very handy and I'd like to try and get it to fit my SE as I'd quite like to use my Ortlieb rackpack similar to the Wunderlich branded jobby in the pics

Nippy Normans show it on their front page but don't seem to actually sell it-which is clever.

Or perhaps they do but their website is so disjointed that it's hard to find anything without a spare week or two to trawl every page.

Are there any other websites that have Wunderlich stuff which is actually findable on their website ?

I tried Google but not much joy, apart from this but it doesn't say if it fits other bikes.

Have you tried lookign in their 2009 catalogues?
Here

Yup,ta.

But entering the product number of 8500257 just comes up with the link to the page above which is this one.

That says it only fits GS12 and GSA,yet it was fitted to a GS650 at the show (I think it is,anyway, but had to look away to avoid

That wil be because that part number is for a rear carrier enlarger to fit a R1200GS+Adventure
If you want one for a 650/800GS then have a look in the 650/800GS twins catalogue: here page 38, part number 8500298

If it is for another bike, have a look in the catalogue for that bike, to see if they make one.

TBH it seems a bit flimsy to me, the wider load is still only support by the rack fixings, and a have a pathoogical hatred of wing nuts. But that is my problem :augie

I think you're probably right.

But I just like the idea of being able to use my 49 L Rackpack on my SE.

But,with the rack I have now,it will come in contact with the exhausts :
